Welcome to Westwood High School

Westwood High School is committed to developing the intellectual, cultural, vocational, physical, and social capabilities of all students.

Westwood High School, home of the Patriots, is located on the Western end of Marquette County, just to the west of the city of Ishpeming in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and features a wide variety of academic courses and after school activities. Behind the welcoming doors of Westwood, students are challenged and taught to strive to be their best by reaching goals throughout the school year. This is a place where students learn who they really are and what they can be. Students are proud to attend Westwood High school and their spirit shows it. WHS “Senior Night” - Friday, February 5th

- seniors & parents of the Girls’ Basketball, Wrestling and Hockey Teams. 
Please meet in the cafeteria at the beginning of the JV Girls’ Basketball game (approximately 6:15 p.m.) for instructions.  Individual pictures will also be taken at this time.  Introductions will be made during the half time of the JV game.

The NICE Community School District is accepting Schools of Choice students for the second semester of the 2009-10 school year.

 

 SCHOOLS OF CHOICE APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE

The NICE Community School District announces that Schools of Choice applications are now available for the 2nd semester of the 2009-10 school year. Applications will be accepted from Friday, January 8, 2010 until Friday, January 22, 2010. The Schools of Choice date for enrollment shall be no later than Friday, January 29, 2010.

Information regarding grades, schools and special programs for which applications will be accepted is currently available in the Superintendent’s office. Please call (906) 485-1021.
